Our Mission

Following Christ. Loving Our Community. Sharing Hope.

At Resurrection Lutheran Church, our mission, vision and values shape everything we do. They guide how we worship, serve our neighbors, care for families and share the hope of Jesus Christ throughout our community. Together, our mission reflects our commitment to living out Christ’s Great Commission and growing as faithful disciples.

Our Mission

“We engage our community to connect people with Jesus.”

Our mission is rooted in Christ’s call to share the Gospel with the world. Whether through worship, Bible studies, outreach ministries or our Child Development Center, we seek to create meaningful opportunities for people to encounter the love and grace of Jesus. Every ministry at Resurrection Lutheran Church exists to help people grow in faith and build a lasting relationship with Christ.

Our Values

If Resurrection Lutheran Church disappeared tomorrow, what would our community miss?

Our prayer is that we would be known as a church that is firmly rooted in God’s Word, builds meaningful Christ-centered relationships, serves others with intention and provides a vibrant Christian Childhood Development Center where children and families are loved and supported. These values continue to shape our mission and ministries and guide the way we care for our congregation and community.

Biblically Based

God’s Word is the foundation of everything we do. Through faithful preaching, Bible studies and Christ-centered teaching, our mission is to encourage people of every age to grow in faith and deepen their understanding of Scripture.

As Christians, we are meant to live out our faith within our community. Our mission is to build authentic relationships where people encourage one another, pray together, grow spiritually and walk alongside one another through every season of life.

We believe Christ calls us to love and serve our neighbors. We seek to share God’s love in meaningful and practical ways through outreach ministries, service opportunities and partnerships within our community.

One of our greatest opportunities to serve our community is through our Childhood Development Center. By partnering with families to provide Christ-centered early education and compassionate care, we help nurture children’s academic, social, emotional and spiritual development while sharing the love of Jesus every day.

Our Core Values

These core values guide our mission, our ministries, shape our decisions and reflect our commitment to faithfully serving God and our community.

Bible-Centered Preaching And Teaching

God speaks to His people through His living Word. We are committed to biblical preaching, teaching and study that encourages spiritual growth and helps people become more like Christ.

God has blessed each of us with unique gifts. We joyfully respond by using our time, abilities and resources to serve His Kingdom and care for others.

Everything we have is a gift from God. We seek to faithfully steward His blessings by managing our resources wisely, responsibly and with integrity.

Healthy families strengthen both the church and the community. We are committed to supporting parents, marriages and families as they grow together in faith.

Children and youth are an important part of the Church today. By investing in our youth, we can guide them in developing their relationship with Christ and confidently living out their faith.
