Application Process

With a rolling enrollment structure and no extensive admissions requirements, we strive to make the admissions straightforward and easy. Our application process include the following:

  • Schedule An Optional Tour: We encourage prospective families to visit our school to experience what we have to offer firsthand. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to meet members of our school team, explore our building and classrooms and ask any questions you have about our preschool and childhood development center.

  • Complete Your Enrollment Forms: When you’re ready to enroll, simply complete the required enrollment forms. Your enrollment information allows us to begin setting up your family’s account and preparing for your child’s arrival.

  • Welcome To Our School Family!: After enrollment is complete, our team will provide your welcome information and help prepare your child for a successful first day. We’re committed to making your child’s transition to our program as smooth as possible.

Who can parents enroll?

Resurrection Lutheran School proudly serves children from 6 weeks through 12 years of age through our year-round child development programs.

We offer rolling enrollment throughout the year, which makes it easier for families to enroll when the time is right. Preschool classes begin following Labor Day, while infants and children under age 3 may begin throughout the year based on availability.

Yes. If a classroom reaches capacity, families may be placed on our waitlist.

We are a preferred vendor for military and state subsidy programs. Learn more about our tuition fees.

Yes, there is a nonrefundable registration fee.

Completing the enrollment form paperwork and paying the nonrefundable registration fee guarantees your child’s spot!

We provide full-time childcare and education for families in Newport News and are open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
